In light of the recent changes with SunPower, District Energy would like to reach out and assure all our Solar customers that we are here to support you and all your service needs.
This is an unfortunate and unforeseen situation. Nonetheless, one of the benefits of working with a company like District Energy is knowing that we are here for the long term.
Here are the latest updates:
The Solar Warranties:
All SunPower systems purchased through District Energy have Maxeon-manufactured solar panels. Maxeon has agreed to continue the warranty coverage on these panels. CLICK TO VIEW LETTER
Similarly, all Sunpower panels were paired with Enphase micro-inverters. CLICK TO VIEW LETTER
Enphase has agreed to also cover the warranty on the inverters, so both the panels and the inverters will continue to have warranty coverage.
Finally, the monitoring and reporting will continue to be in place and be branded as SunPower.
The latest information we have is that it will continue to be in place. We will keep you posted as we learn more.
But for now, rest assured that your system is still covered under warranties and that monitoring app will continue. Thank you for your patience as we work through this transition.
